The Perfect Easter Flower

In the forests of the Pacific Northwest, among the ferns and huckleberry bushes, one can occasionally  encounter a wildflower, Trillium ovatum, that I consider to be the perfect flower for Easter. Peace Community Outreach - April 2020

Hey all, a big thanks to all those that cooked, served and prayed for the event and also to those that wrote encouraging notes that we included with the meals. We boxed up nearly 100 Easter ham dinners and roughly half of them were shared with the folks that came to Peace Community Center in Tacoma where we typically serve. The other half we did a sort of Uber Eats OHC style. We delivered them to the Tiny House Village for the homeless in Upper Tacoma. I can't speak for those that we served, but I do know we were blessed immensely! Thank you! -Mark Jones

For Palm Sunday we jump ahead in our John series to John 12 and the record of Jesus entering Jeruslam with crowds hailing him as a hero, hoping he'll become a second but greater Simon Maccabees.  Jesus is more ambitious than that though.  He's after the whole world.
